A record 277  children completed this year’s  Summer reading scheme at Woodbridge Library, on the theme of the Mythical Maze. It is wonderful to see this excellent national  scheme continuing to be so well supported in our town.

I presented the awards this Sunday, and to add a bit of sparkle, funded a Magic Giant with a Firebreathing Dragon, plus a Magic Show and some balloon modelling to finish off the event.

It was a lovely afternoon!

Congratulations to all the children who took part – and to the library volunteers who gave so much of their time over the summer to support it. Huge thanks also has to go to all the parents who supported this scheme, enabling their children to take part
