It is truly extraordinary that the mindset that blandly declares that ‘ you have to pay to get the best,’ and ‘there is no such thing as society’ is also the one that is so keen to rely on others’ free labour and ‘the community’ for the really important things in life (like caring for the elderlyand running public libraries).
